Mostafa joined the Competition and Distribution practice at ALF in 2023. He developed a rich and diverse background through his remarkable tenure as an enforcer at the Egyptian Competition Authority, where he had a specialized hands-on focus on investigating cartels and abuse of dominant positions across various industries and sectors of the Egyptian economy. He then joined a top-tier law firm in Cairo, where he provided legal advice and opinions on a variety of matters across different practices including general corporate matters, competition matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employment and capital markets, therefore bringing a unique perspective to his practice.

Mostafa currently advises local and international clients on all competition law matters, mergers and acquisitions clearance, distribution agreements and compliance with competition regulations.
