Dr. Fatma Adel
Fatma Adel is Counsel at Alliance Law Firm, heading the Competition and Distribution Law since July 2023. She has an immense experience in the Egyptian Competition Law, as well as the EU, US, France and COMESA relevant competition laws and regulations.
She advises international and local clients on all competition law matters, including complex local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions clearance, competition investigations and dawn raids, legal opinions, competition litigation, private enforcement, and competition compliance & training programs. She also advises clients on distribution matters, including distribution agreements, establishing distribution networks, franchise agreements, pricing policies, as well as ensuring compliance with the competition law rules and regulations.
Before joining ALF, Fatma worked at the Egyptian Competition Authority, where she served as the legal advisor to the Chairman for Competition Law & Policy, providing guidance and managed the cases and studies in the Authority and acted as a strong advocate for competition.

- Cairo University – Bachelor’s degree in Egyptian law.
- Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (France) – Bachelor’s degree in French law.
- Burgundy University (France) – Master’s degree in international business law.
- Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (France) – PhD in competition law.
