Mohamed has been a prominent lawyer at our Competition and Distribution department since 2021 and his practice mainly focuses on Competition Law. He represents and advises Alliance Law Firm’s clients on a wide range of competition matters. He is qualified in handling cartels, abuse of dominant position investigation cases as well as merger filings and clearance and dawn-raids. He has also worked on a broad range of general corporate matters, and M&As transactions while providing compliance guidance to our clients.
Mohamed achieved considerable experience in outlining research papers on competition policies in the European and the Egyptian Competition Law, as well as the pharmaceutical sector, telecommunications and media sector, resins, and chemicals sector, building materials sector, plus food and agriculture sectors.
Prior to joining our firm, he worked as a case handler and legal researcher at the Egyptian Competition Authority for two years after graduating. During this period, he has handled several competition investigations including and not limited to abuse of dominant position, horizontal agreements “cartels,” vertical restraints as well as merger control.

- Represented a leading yeast production company in connection with an abuse of dominant position investigation case conducted by the Egyptian Competition Authority.
- Represented an Egyptian automotive company in connection with a price-fixing cartel investigation case conducted by Egyptian Competition Authority.
- Represented a leading resins and chemicals production company in connection with a bid-rigging cartel case investigation conducted by Egyptian Competition Authority.
- Conducted full fledge mock-up dawn raid for a local company.
- Provided competition law compliance programs for local and multinational companies.
- Assisted local and multinational companies in setting their commercial/sales policies and guidelines to be aligned with the competition law rules.
