Hasham focuses his practice on corporate, commercial law, M&A and competition law. He advises multinational companies in various M&A, private equity fund, franchise and agency distributorship transactions and was previously involved in corporate, contracts, labor, taxation, and competition law. He advises multinational corporations on the full range of corporate and commercial matters in the fields of cement, tourism, civil aviation, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, tabaco, advertising, F&B, and manufacturing.
He worked and drafted the amends of the Egyptian Competition Law, guidelines of the common market for eastern and southern Africa – COMESA. He was a member of the legal team at the Federal trade commission, in Washington DC.
Hashem obtained two Bachelors of Laws, one from Cairo University and the other from the Pantheon-Sorbonne. He earned his Masters’ in International and European Business Law also from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
