Alliance Law Firm successfully represented one of the biggest Egyptian steel companies as a claimant (“Claimant”) in an arbitration case against an English company, which is a leading supplier in the steel market, (“Respondent”). The claim was valued at USD 7,000,000.
The arbitration proceedings took place at the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. The Respondent committed a fraudulent act to deceive the Claimant in the supply of 27,425 MT of HBI Chips.
Following the deliberation of the arbitral tribunal of the technical and complex dispute our team secured the Claimant a favourable arbitration award.
