Amendment to some provisions of Law No. 201 for 2020 on Microfinance Activity to finance SMEs

Dr. Omran, chairman of the FRA stated that the amendments issued contribute to the availability of financing SMEs, which represent more than 70% of the structure of the Egyptian economy. He also stated that 3.11 million projects benefited from microfinance activity and pave the way in attracting a variety of SMEs. He added: “We have been keen to have a supervisory umbrella to oversee the financing activity of SMEs.
